Melbourne Business School Master of Business Analytics gives you the skills and knowledge to become stand-out data scientists and business analysts, experts able to approach analytics with the strategic perspective of a business mind. Our advanced one year full-time degree focuses on quantitative methods and the role of data in decision making.
This advanced, one-year, full-time degree focuses on quantitative methods and the role of data in decision-making. You will learn how data can drive decision-making through statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modelling and fact-based management.

Entry Requirements
The entry criteria for the program includes the following compulsory requirements:
Completed an undergraduate transcript at a recognized tertiary institution with a minimum GPA of 65%.
As a guide, recent students have achieved a WAM of no less than 70%. High school transcripts are not required. Typically your undergraduate degree will be in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Physics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, etc. Given the heavy quant-based nature of the program, the primary focus will be on a student’s quantitative abilities.
Up to date CV (Work experience is not mandatory).
An excellent command of English, with a copy of your IELTS or TOEFL score* if you are a non-native speaker*.
A passport or verified document showing current citizenship/residency status.
A copy of your GMAT/GRE document (if any but not mandatory).
*Accepted English proficiency evidence: IELTS: Academic English test with a minimum score of 7.0 overall and with no individual band less than 7.0. TOEFL iBT, with a minimum score of 94 (written score minimum 27 and no individual score lower than 24) PTE: Overall score minimum of 65+, with writing skills of minimum 65 and no other communicative skill belowIt is a university requirement that applicants provide evidence that they meet the published entry requirements. Fees
The full-time Master of Business Analytics program fee is AUD$65,760 (2023 costings), with fees paid per module.
