We hope you are well. Thank you for your patience while we sought clarity regarding the recent changes by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA) to the English requirements for student visa applications. We have recently received further advice from the Management and would like to provide you with the following information.UQ College will no longer be able to offer the Extended Foundation Program.
UQ College will no longer be able to offer Integrated English (IE) package with Extended Foundation Program.
UQ College will no longer be able to offer Integrated English (IE) package with Standard Foundation Program.
In this regard, UQ College cannot progress applications, offers and Confirmation of Enrolment (CoEs) that are in the pipeline for the Extended Foundation Program and English language package offers for students with IELTS level below 5.5 or equivalent. This also applies to any applications submitted and offers accepted prior to 23 March 2024.
On the other hand, UQ College will continue to offer the direct entry to Standard Foundation Program for students with IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
We encourage you to review the application documents and if the students have met the minimum entry requirements for the Standard Foundation Program, please submit new applications by completing the online application form Apply for a UQ Foundation Program.
