Late arrivals policy
To help facilitate student success, UWA CELT has introduced a late arrival policy. This policy has been implemented to reduce stress when arriving in Perth and minimise class disruptions. Students are required to arrive in Perth ready to start classes on the first day of term. If a student is unable to start on the first day, the following late arrival deadlines apply:20 Week Bridging Course, Language and Communication Essentials (LCE), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), IELTS Examination Preparation
Students can enter class up to Friday of week one. Students must be in class at 8.30am on the Friday.
10 Week Bridging Course
No late arrival is permitted; students must attend Orientation on Friday prior to class starting.
If a student is unable to arrive by the above dates, they must email the Enrolments Officer at enrolments-celt@uwa.edu.au before the deadline. They should advise the Enrolments Officer whether they want to defer or cancel their enrolment. If there is no correspondence by this deadline, their enrolment and CoEs will be cancelled and fees will be incurred (see Payment Conditions and Refund Policy on the Letter of Offer).
