杜伦大学的延期官方明确不是针对录取结果的延期，是对申请的延期，是延到下一个学年重新评估，如果入学要求有变化，会按新的标准再评估一次。
If you would prefer to defer the start date of your programme of study, you can request this through your applicant portal. You should be aware that a deferral is not guaranteed, and it is your application which is deferred and not your offer.
If you request a deferral to the next academic year, your application will be reconsidered when the next admissions cycle opens. It is possible that the entry criteria for the programme may change in the subsequent year, so your application will be considered based on the criteria for the new year of entry.
We only allow a maximum of two deferrals, and a new application will be required should you be unable to take up your place after a second deferral.
